<p>Just got back from vacation today, and got my scholarship letter.</p>

<p>I got the Gold National Scholarship (or whatever it’s called… the out-of-state tuition waiver), Gold Scholar Award, Presidential Award, and Undergraduate Research Scholarship. $12,500 + research stipend + difference between out-of-state and in-state tuition… nice deal! :D</p>

<p>Oh, and I also got a letter notifying me of my admission to the Honors College. That’s odd… a few weeks after my admission to the university.</p>

<p>That’s so odd. My stats are great and I applied Oct 30, and they still haven’t even looked at my application.</p>

<p>I’m hoping they look at it as soon as they’re off winter break.</p>

<p>It’s officially called the University Honors Program. As I wrote above, offers of admission into the Honors Program trickle in throughout the application season, in no particular relation to when an applicant is first admitted to the university.</p>

I had the whole deal about “Your app is complete by December 15th and you will get a decision by the end of Feb.” status for a couple weeks, and I just logged in now and the status box is blank. Also, the “Received Materials” box is empty, as it used to be full. Could this possibly signify a rejection? Because I really don’t want a rejection… ='[</p>

<p>No, it means they are reindexing the database. It happens at night almost every week, and sometimes everyday to everyone…</p>

<p>I’mOnABoat - Mine did that randomly once and was back to regular in a day I believe. I don’t think it signifies anything at all, but that was just what happened for me.</p>

<p>I heard that the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) usually sends their first mass mailing in early Janurary, has anyone else heard this?</p>

<p>And it seems like many of the people here, and the people I know, have heard from CBS, IT, and Carlson, does anyone else notice this?</p>

<p>I sent in my app on September 4th and have yet to hear anything back on my application tracker or in the mail. Does anyone know when I could hope to hear back?</p>

<p>I haven’t heard back either and my application was submitted September 2nd, and completed material sent by October.</p>

<p>Coolbrezze, I’m cheering for you. I remember the “olden days” when no one knew admission results until second semester of senior year.</p>
