Good luck to everyone!

Good luck to everyone!

I applied EA, and should be receiving my decision on the 15th. WOOT!

is it definitely ON the 15th or is that just an estimate? i know they said mid-jan but i saw last year decisions were made on the 12th or so.

Just an estimate. :)

I also applied, but most likely won’t go there if I don’t get a full scholarship… will they release info. on that too, along w/ admission status in mid-jan?

Are you in-state and did you apply for the Dilgledine Scholarship?

JMU does not have many “full ride” scholarships…

The Dingledine and the Centennial Scholars programs are the most comprehensive.

Most merit scholarships cover a portion of tuition, and some are only renewable for a year or two.

My son applied regular decision. What is the date for the email or snail mail notification for RD?

^ I did not see it mentioned anywhere on the website so thought I’d ask here - is there any reduction to in-state tuition costs for academically eligible OOS students?

RD notifications are sent via email at the end of March. I believe a snail mail letter follows the email notification, but I am not sure.

Hm, if I don’t get in, I will probably cry. Call me arrogant, but really, according to my school’s history of acceptances, anyone over a 1700 SAT can get in, so I am not REALLY all that worried.

I think I’m the only person from my school in Georgia who applied to JMU, but it’s one of my top choice schools and I hope I get in!!!
This week is probably the week!! WOWWW
Good luck everyone!

Yep, this is the week. I REALLY want to get in. Also, I hope I get into the Honors College.

any guesses on which day this week? :)

I heard from the 12th to the 15th.

wowww that could be tomorrow…crazy!

I know! I’m dying over here!!!

Ahhh same!!! Last month around the 18th was when I hard from my two other schools that I’m considering (Elon University and College of Charleston). So it’s been a month since I’ve felt this suspense! It’s a good feeling I guess :P

lol. Yeah, the feeling is good. I think I’m gonna cry if I don’t get in, though.

Damn I’m nervous ahahahhaha. So you think we find out tomorrow? How do we check online?

I am so tired of waiting patiently! Can it be decision day already? : ( I’m so nervous!

ARGH… hopefully it will be posted tomorrow. VT posted their stuff on the 12th of dec and they said mid dec.
