11, haven’t heard back from any yet.

i started out with ~40, but ended up with 12 after a LOT of researching…& keeping track of THAT many was hard enough o_0

I applied to 11. Was planning to apply to a lot more, then I met with a college counselor and she made me narrow down my list significantly. I’m glad though, because deciding out of the schools I’ve been accepted to already seems like a daunting task.

I applied to 8. The financial aid portion of the applications is proving to be far more annoying than the actual application process! My mom is getting annoyed at all the W-2s/Tax Returns that we have to mail out.

I applied to 10. But while I was waiting for one of my interviews to start (didn’t figure out why I wanted to go there until about 2 minutes before), I realized that even if I got accepted AND got decent FA, I wouldn’t attend more than half of them. Sigh. Such time wasted…

8 … I know someone who did 28.

I applied to 8, should have only applied to 5 of them, got into 6 of them and am waiting on the other 2. :)

I applied to 10, 5 high level LACs (4 of which required additional essays and 3 got sent creative video projects), and 5 high level BFA Acting programs (all of which required acting auditions). I’M FINALLY DONE!

Applied to 25 colleges.
harvard,mit,stanford,princeton,upenn,duke,berkeley,ucla,ucsd,carnegie,cornell,illinois,purdue,georgia tech,utaustin,usc,mcgill,utoronto,uwaterloo,ubc,imperial college london,university college london,bristol,southampton,michigan ann arbor.

HA HA

Five?

The school I’m actually attending I applied to as a joke.

LUCKY 12:):) It’s my favorite number but I didn’t realize I applied for exactly 12 until 10 seconds ago!!

I feel like some people really abuse this process.

I applied to 5 CSUs (California State University) and 4 UCs (university of California) and 1 Private one. (university of La Verne)

13, the last 5 of which I submitted after getting deferred from my EA school.

7 in the US; 5 more in the UK. And safety schools in my own country should I not get into any school in the US and not go to the UK because of money constraints.

My D applied to 9 schools…she got into 6 and deferred from 3.

My child applied to 8:
3 were financial aid safety schools (certainty or high chance that net annual cost all-in was going to start with a 2), one a reach, one a match, one a safety
3 reaches, an Ivy and 2 LACs
2 OOS flagship public universities

Heard from 3; in at 3

Kei

International needing aid, so methinks its reasonable.

3 financial safeties.
2 matches
9 reaches

Got in all three safeties, rejected from 1 reach.

2, both would statistically be considered safeties.

1 is a top school for my major, but not necessarily the strongest school when look at in its’ entirety. The other just felt right.

6; 5 in US and 1 in my own country. I never intended to go to the uni in my country. I just apply coz it’s the best uni and it sounds cool if I get in and reject the #1 university in the country. No need to offend, I knw it’s silly :)
