<p>I’m planning on applying to 9-11. I agree with porkperson over 15 is crazy.</p>

<p>I applied to one (a dream school) and got in EA. Before that I’d submitted apps to four other schools, one because they waived the fee and kept begging me to, and two for safeties/matches, and another school I really loved. After the dream school acceptance, I submitted one other app to a “sister” institution, so to speak (I’m sure you guys can guess which :D) but I’m happy with where I am.</p>
<p>So I guess… that’s 6. I CAN’T believe all you guys who did like 20 and 30!!</p>
<p>6 by 1/1 and then managed to apply to CMU 10 days later throwing together an app in one hour.</p>

<p>I applied to 12 in total but the last three were random free applications that I didnt care for and 7 were common app :D</p>
<p>I applied to 1 School ED, 1 School EA, and 5 UC Schools, to which I was accepted to the first two, and I withdrew from the latter 5. However, if I did not have the fortune of getting in to the ED school, I would have applied to an additional 10 schools, which would add up to a wonderful 17 schools.</p>

5 UC’s
7 Ivies (everywhere but Princeton)
and other east coast private schools.</p>
<p>I applied to 18 in all, but UC’s were one app, so… more like 14 applications. Not too bad! Things got a little messy when it came to financial aid (especially with the confusing “make correction” thing that happens when you apply to more than 10 schools), and with all the different decision dates and interviews and username/passwords.</p>
<p>I organized everything on OneNote. ( : Super convenient.</p>

<p>I’ve been denied at two, and wait listed at one, I’ve only gotten into my safety…</p>

<p>Wow. I thought I applied to a lot. I applied to 8. JHU, Oxy, BU, Kenyon, UDub, UMass, UC-Boulder, and Iowa.</p>
