***Class of 2014 NMSF Qualifying scores***

No big news considering past cutoffs, but my son was notified today that he is a NMSF in Alabama with a 221.

update coming soon

National Achievement semi-finalist with 213 in NY (region 1 I believe)

are you saying someone made it with a 213 in NY?

Daughter just notified that 207 is semi finalist in Arkansas!

Pokemon,

213 was for National Achievement NOT National Merit. Different criteria.

updating with nailing down PA, and hearing from MO, TN, AL, AR, & NA in NY

Please use this template that explains the symbols below for each state

See the stickied FAQ thread in this forum for links to lists of previous scores.

After the press-release date in mid-September, qualifying scores will be available by phone from the NMSC. Here is the number to call–the receptionist will give you one “qualifying score” when asked.

Still getting over our disappointment at the cutoff being higher than the state cutoff. :’(

Oh man, if PA mom is correct, my daughter missed it at 214! oh well…

The 207 in Arkansas that qualifies as semi finalist was from the principal. Don’t know any other scores to help determine the cutoff. Sorry.

Per my son, his school announced the nmsf’s today. They were told that the cut off in Alabama is 211. Sadly, he missed it by a few. :/
