Well, my brother's actually the reason why I'm applying to American universities in the first place, as he wanted to do a PhD there originally, and that was how I found out that the American universities are so open to homeschoolers. He also helped me with my A-levels, taught me programming, and gave me the idea for my Computer Science project. Sure, we argue at times... but that's what siblings are for. :D

Agreed!

@everyone,
Hey guys could you suggest me some books to read. I am free for the next fifteen days, and probably will be reading a few books! So, do you guys know any "must read" types? Fiction, non-fiction, narrative anything will do.
Thanks in advance!
..hope I don't need to make any random pick now!

Phantoms of the Brain is really good if you're even just a tad interested in biology

I'm currently reading Wuthering Heights and am enjoying it! So I'd recommend that.

Python, I'm glad you and your brother get on well! Me and mine.. hmm not so much. I grew up mostly with my dad and my brother so it's kind of them vs me. We're just different people that's all. I'm quiet and like reading and learning and making music. He likes sport and working in a shop so he can get money to spend on hair products and going out to pubs. I'm a thinker and he's a doer. Which is fine. But he also doesn't share crisps with me. Boooooo.

My brother is a few years younger than me. We fight, we have fun :).

I wish I had a brother :(
I'm sandwiched between 2 evil sisters!

same here gary! :(

What is WITH and your extreme reactions to girls? ;)

XPrience maybe!

Exactly :D

I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters. They're all adults now, lol, so I've always been the "spoilt kid" in the family, since I'm the youngest by a mile. :D My oldest sister is actually married and finishing her PhD... and I haven't even started at university yet! There isn't much rivalry between us, because the age gap is so big. But it might prove amusing if I get into a great school like Harvard, Princeton or Cambridge. ;)

P.S. What does WITH stand for?

Nothing, she was just stressing the word "with" ;)

Haha yeah :D

Whoa, python. I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters, they’re all WAY older than me, I’m the youngest in my family too, AND one of my sister’s married and the other just finished her PhD. Freaky!

Again. Coincidences abound!

hey i was wondering wat is the average salary one receives after finishing his/her undergrad from a very good university in us or uk or anywhere

^It depends what kind of degree you do :).

And, Quasi, we’re both the youngest in the family? Heh… maybe you’re my mirror image. (j/k)

i mean an estimate…
course: international relations or a good science program

Ack no idea.

You still need to be more specific, though. For example, if you studied chemistry at Harvard and then went on to work for a big pharmaceutical company, it might pay a lot more than if you did physics at Harvard and got a job as a lecturer.

As for international relations, I really have no idea. Personally, I almost stopped considering politics as a career when I realised I couldn’t become the President of the USA. :P

Why don’t you research this online? There are plenty of great job sites out there. If you’re feeling stuck, you could just Google “highest salary” like I did. ;)
