Do you think guys like him exist in real life? I’ve never met one.

My best guy friend is like him, except a lot less cute. And he isn’t a science geek either. Oh well…

Aw! The cuteness and geekiness are part of the deal. Rusty wouldn’t be Rusty without them.

Exactly. Do you like Jordin?

Hello everyone. I am also applying for the class of 2014.I am now in the USA.I would like to ask if applying not as an international(I am coming from Armenia) will dramatically increase my chances? I actually have the option of getting a Green Card to apply as a resident, but I am not sure if it really matters that much. Also, I will require full scholarship!Any advice is very welcome!Just don`t really know what to do.

Applying as an international will dramatically DECREASE your chances. Get that green card!

Not if you’re from a country that doesn’t have too many people applying to the US - they do want diversity. The scholarship thing does reduce your chances though, so get the green card for that.

Financial need overrides nationality, IMO.

It does. I agreed with you ^^

So what else is new around here?

School starts on Tuesday.

IT SUCKS!!!

You bet it sucks.

I’m just happy reading Aravind Adiga right now.

Seriously, you can’t hate school that much! I only go to school whenever I’m feeling a lil down and bored and need my friends to cheer up a lil
Though, I think I’ve kept my attendance a lil better than last year I guess…

Our school comes down heavily on bunking - circles the number of days you’ve bunked on your report card. Which doesn’t look too good, college-application time.

Yes, I think about such things. Yes, I am a freak.

They actually circle the no. of days you’ve bunked on the report card! That’s a bit too harsh.

Eh, we have no circling system

I’m from the Seychelles and I’m applying for the class of 2014 too!!! Any propective econ majors here???

Have you guys heard about “colleges that change lives”?? What are your opinions about these colleges?[Colleges That Change Lives - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Colleges That Change Lives - Wikipedia)

I bunk a lot…like maybe once a week…I tend to study a lot staying all by myself without anyone’s guidance…I ain’t need anybody:p

I don’t (can’t) bunk. I miss way too much action and gossip :p. Aaaaaaaaaaand I’m a captain so I’m usually running around doing stuff and bunking classes anyway :D

BUNK?? My parents KNOW when I don’t go to school
And I never bunk classes…almost. Just remember having bunked multiple classes for 1 day last year. And I had a very valid reason for that…Inter-school girls swimming competition :D

In any case, the attendance on my rep card is a lot more than my actual attendance. 25% of it is made up coz of official leaves.
