Hey guys! Post here with questions about the 2015 Danforth Scholarship Program. Does anyone know when we hear about decisions? Good luck to all.

No idea. The acceptance notification date is April 1 but many of the other scholarships I applied to notify prior to that date.

Yeah, I looked all over their website and there’s no decision date for any of the scholarships. Oh well, waiting game!

some scholarships, maybe all of them, are notified BEFORE the official decision notification. So if you get the scholarship it may be an early notification of getting into the school itself

No news whatsoever.

Notification is around the third week of February if I recall correctly.

Where do you recall this from? nervewracking

My son was waiting to hear last year…Here’s the thread. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/washington-university-st-louis/858803-scholarship-notification.html?highlight=danforth

Thanks boomie. I’m very anxious to hear their decision!

Okay guys! Last year, notification was on Saturday the 20th, I believe. It’s now the Saturday the 12th, so I’m reeeallly hoping we’ll be finding out a week from today. Anyone else think so?

Yup, my guess is next weekend. Aaaah, so nervous! In the past years it’s been on the 19th, 20th, 23rd, etc. so next weekend is the most likely.

Are the calls for Lien, Moog, Compton, etc. on the same weekend as those for Danforth?

I have no idea, in the past it looks like they’ve come out around the same time. Why can’t they just give us a definite date? Ah well…I guess in the end that doesn’t change anything

So do ya’ll think the phone will ring tomorrow?

If calls do start coming tomorrow, please post here so the rest of us know. From last year’s thread, it looks as if semifinalists are called on the weekend, and Monday those not chosen will find out for sure on Pathway.

I cannot believe I just read through all 20 pages of boomie’s link!

Hey, I’ve done it a couple of times! We need to start a dramatic one of our own. ;)

For us it is either win a scholarship or go to the state flagship. We fall into that so called “rich” category. Our fingers are crossed as I would love for my son to study at WashU. e also applied to Princeton, but

I am sitting here staring at our phone feeling like a desperate psycho. Anyone else over-caffeined doing the same?

Right there with you! I’m scared to leave the room. I jump every time the phone rings. I hope someone on CC hears soon! I don’t want to be stuck in limbo wondering whether calls are going out.

Seriously, I agree. I put my phone in a baggie and it went into the shower with me this morning, LOL.
