I just copied this from an old decision thread from GT, but I thought this would be convenient for when results come out at the end of this week. Good luck to everyone! I can't wait to get my decision :O.

Be sure to take out the spaces in between the brakets [ b], [ /b], [ list], etc so it looks nice. If it doesn't work the first time just hit edit and try again.

“We will be rolling out decisions throughout the afternoon on Friday, November 19 for Early Action applicants. There is no “set” time that everyone will receive a decision. Your decision will appear in Buzzport sometime on Friday afternoon.”

[] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected:
With my grades and SAT scores, I thought I would have been a maybe for regular decision. It must have been my essay. I connected a few of my extra curriculars with what I wanted to to in my future. Plus not many people apply from Vermont, so that might have been a factor.

[/ul]Reflection[ul]
[] Strengths: UW GPA. I think my job at the optometrist looks pretty good, and sounded better typed out on my application. My SAT “superduper-score” with the ACT scores converted, like Georgia Tech does, is slightly over 2100. Everyone who read my essay (teachers, English majors) said my essay was great, minus a few writing errors that they gave me pointers on and re-read.
[] Weaknesses: Not an 800 in M. Also, my school hasn’t allowed me to take extra math classes for two years. This prevented me from getting the prerequisites for an AP math class this year. I even tried to convince my school to let me take Trigonometry this semester and regular Calculus next semester (or at a community college) but my principal wouldn’t stand for it. So I got pretty screwed over as far as that goes.
[li] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected:[/li][/ul]General Comments: My stats typed up on here don’t really do me justice. I don’t think I typed enough in my EC section in the application (so I’m going to elaborate much more during Regular Admission), but in general my application looked much better when I was typing the application (because I wasn’t so upset). I’m very disappointed, but looking forward to trying again for Regular Admission.

Also, I’m slightly depressed that I am the first defer I have seen on these forums for GT.

^you got deferred because you didnt have any calc and such…if u explain your situation to someone in the admissions department you have a very good chance for reg decision.
