Class of 2015 EA Decision Thread

sooo I was told that they don’t Deny people admission for EA and PSP applications like they only defer to Regular decision

was I misled? D:

i heard they accepted 85% of the people who apply early (by oct 1 and nov 1)
what’s your situation noob?

well
uhh it just says Denied Admission

i pretty much knew I wasn’t going to get in because my GPA is so bad but i wouldn’t mind to have been defferred
:(

ambaturkey11: that’s way high. Last year, it was ~70% got in eventually. This year should be less, with applications numbers going up.

:( i’m sorry noob
but i look at it like this
not every successful person goes to gatech, mit, or stanford
heck they reject people with “great” stats
where ever you go, you’ll be fine
GPB: i know that’s high but that’s what I heard. but it is going to go down, especially with alot of out of state students applying

Best school i’ve gotten into so far…

I saw the georgia tech sample application form. Nowhere, it is mentioned about the size of the essay

Can anyone point me to the place where the length of the essay is mentioned as 500 words or whatever within the application form?

Thanks

If I remember correctly it is on the actual application. Its not a big deal if you go a little over 500 words, mine was like 550. Isn’t it a little late to be sending in the application?
