Hang in there, heebiejeebie & congratulations to getmeouttajersey.

Best of luck to the rest of you waiting on your letters and emails. I waited anxiously with my two Swatties, '10 and '13, for their ED letters, so I have a good idea of what you’re going through. Here’s hoping you’ll all get good news.

PS: You might want to think about skipping the stats posts. The caliber of every student who applies, plus the way Swarthmore builds a class, means that stats just don’t offer the sort of picture that’s particularly helpful to future applicants. (I think this is true of most peer schools, too.) And it’s also a little out of step with the way things are there - talking about grades and scores isn’t something Swatties have ever done much of, back in the dark ages when I was there, or now.

Congratulations to those who got in. Can’t wait to meet you next year! And to those who didn’t, don’t worry! Schools aren’t lock-and-key - you’ll be happy wherever you end up.

I can’t believe it! I got the letter before the email. They FedEx’d it over here, so I got it before some of you in the US… My mom brought in the package and my hands were so shaky it was ridiculous. I’m so happy! Good luck to everyone else - we seem to have a trend of good news here.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!! Super nervous. I’m all the way out in Hong Kong so I’m anxiously awaiting that email/FedEx post… ><. Congrats to everyone that got in and best of luck to heebiejeebie :)

CONGRATULATIONS STARFRIUT!!!

Cannot wait to hear from the email or sth. (ps I live overseas)
Has anyone received the email yet? I am so nervous cuz I might have been defered/rejed…

I’m very happy! I’m near Chicago, and it arrived in the mail today. Congratulations to all the acceptees, and I’m sure everyone will go someplace they will love.
