Ah wanton. Good luck!

Hahahaha I was looking through my agenda and realized I sent out the financial aid stuff a long time ago, I just forgot I sent it. I really hate/love myself sometimes. Not sure which should apply here, ahaha.

Thank you though jujubean. :)

That’s good to hear, haha! You’re welcome. I’m currently in the process of getting my application together. I’m applying ED II. However, I’m having some difficulties with my personal statement; writer’s block. But, I’ll finish on time.

Wanton, I’m glad you realized you were already so organized. At least you don’t have to worry about the deadline anymore. You’re done!

To all the EDI applicants, I wish you good luck! May you all receive lovely acceptances!

My daughter applied on Sunday. Good Luck to everyone.

@ Wanton omg, i did the same exact thing haha!!

I applied last week, I’m so anxious to find out!!

I’m applying EDII like jujubean. I’m freaking out over my essay and my personal statements. I feel like I need them to be proofread 10 times. Good luck to everyone who applied EDI. I applaud you in getting everything done so quickly.

I’m applying EDII. I’ve already sent in my Common Application and I’ve finished my supplement. I can’t bear to send my supplement in just yet, just in case sometime in the next 1.5 months I spot a silly mistake. :)

my daughter got an email from smith telling her where to go to check that everything was turned in, teacher rec., transcript, etc. for ED. Hope everyone else applying ED got this email too.

She will also be able to check Bannerweb to see if she was accepted or not. Financial Aid packages will come by mail however.

KF, I’d get your supplement in reasonably early. Submitting things close to deadline increases the odds of something getting lost in the shuffle and having to either wait until they find it or re-submit. This is true of most institutions, not just Smith.

Thanks everyone, and good luck to all of you~
I really do hope everyone gets in. People seem so nice on here. : )

And yes, Bannerweb is amazing. Especially loving that they list the date they got things, and have some comments on whatever thing it is.
Hey, did anyone know that Smith requires your earliest senior grades? Had no clue. I guess I missed it on the site. Haha thank god for Bannerweb… would’ve been horrible to miss out on Smith just because I didn’t want to submit my wrinkle inducing math grade.

Feeling really, really bad for SFS right now though.

Does anyone know how I can check to see if they got my SAT scores? I know that they’re not a requirement so it doesnt list it on bannerweb. I submitted them a few weeks ago but I want to make sure that they got them and I don’t know how!

@ wanton, my understanding is most colleges want your 1st quarter grades, senior year for ED. RD they will want your 1st semester grades. Basically, the colleges will want a 7 semester transcript for RD. They will also do a mid-year check, if you are excepted ED, and then of course the final transcript in May or June.

@smithieandproud---------thanks i didn’t know they could check their decision on Bannerweb. I know they got everything so here’s hoping.

@natasha—IDK, i will ask my daughter if she knows. Our college counselor is still going to submit the scores, it can only help, I would think. He will be contacting them again next week with the SATII scores as well. Good Luck everyone.

thank you so much grateful1!

does anyone know if we have to submit first quarter grades or first semester grades?
i’m not sure how i would go about reporting my first quarter grades…

Yes, we have to report earliest senior grades, or first quarter grades.
Just go down to your guidance office with the fax number for Smith Admissions Office and ask them to send your first quarter grades.

Is anyone else really nervous to get their decisions?!?!
