<p>Hey guys is SAT really a big factor when it comes to college admission? I took it and got only 510 on CR (really low :…) But I do have good GPA. I want to go to UMCP. And they require TOEFL. How difficult is it?</p>

<p>Hey everyone, i am new user and i finished whole thread “class of 2015-NEPAL”. I m from SXC, I have WES evaluated GPA of 4.0, Sat score- M:800, CR:510(too low) and W:460(worst). I have ielts score 7.0( all colg i applied accepted it). I have applied in RD in Gettysburg, Grinnell, Laffyate n Lehigh. What is acc stats of you being accepted or applying in these colz?
Do i hav chance to get in?</p>

<p>yes you do have a chance , specially since grinell doesn’t require writing score .</p>

<p>i guess being a international student, we need to do really good on the SAT. that’s supposed to be one of the major factors for admission. it has to be on at least 600’s for each of those.</p>
