could any one suggest me which one is better -“liberal atrs” or" university… plzz help me. i am really confused

^^ a liberal arts university ;)… like Brandeis, Colgate, Trinity, etc…

but it really depends upon what you’re looking for in a college… if you think you’re in it for the opportunities go for a university, if you’re in it for the learning pick a college… if you want both pick a university-college!

ive started my sat prep can u give me some tips

^^only one tip from my side–> dont take SAT lightly…

guys don’t be after the tips for cracking the exams…cuz it never works…ask me.
If you keep asking for tips in some ways then you will surely mess it up…
you are asking for tip and it means you are not confident enough to do the test well…only one tip ( which i was also told) …don’t ask around and just practice…practice practice and practice …it’s the only way to raise your scores…and BE CONFIDENT…you don’t wanna have acidity before the test day…ask me. LOL.

does anyone has any info on purdue university?

^
What skox818 said.

@Prasadian As far as I know Purdue Univ. does NOT provides aid to international students ?

SAT mainly tests how calm your mind can be in a tensed situtation. Many questions are easy, but you have insufficient time.

hey seniors some collzs for engineering

“MUZABHAI”,

A good friend of mine recommended Swarthmore. Besides, there’s Trinity College, Connecticut which offers a 3-2 engineering program.

Also, you can refer to Collegeboard.com’s “College Matchmaker”. This helps you to find the colleges that match your needs (cost, size, location, majors, etc.). Here’s the link:

[College MatchMaker - Type of School](<a href=“College Search - BigFuture | College Board”>College Search - BigFuture | College Board)

I found it really helpful.

@bandwidth thanks for ur suggestion

Lafayette too, one of the few LACs that offer engineering programs (not 3/2)

Could anyone tell me when will the result of the SAT (Oct 6) will arrive??

after 2 weeks i guess…n it is oct 9th…not 6th…

@ Bandwidth
Besides 3-2 program it(trinity college) does have a 4 years engineering(mechanical and few others) programs. And I have heard that its 3-2 program means a bachelors and a masters degree somewhat like 4-1(i guess).Correct me if i am wrong guys.

n now this thread is too ACTIVE ( i missed 1 day n i missed 2 whole pages)!!!
now this is what we r lookin for!

Ok guys, that means all Liberal Arts college don’t have engineering programs. I though most include engineering and I need not worry about it.

I want to persuade Bachelor in Photography. Can anyone tell me which college provides photography as major along with aids to International students??

@thunder–any arts school would have an excellent photography course…you might wanna goto a LAC instead…because its almost same. The only difference–>if you goto an arts school, you will be taught professionally from the very first day.You wont be focusing anywhere except the related course but if you goto an LAC, your knowledge will be broader!
There are art schools which offer nice aid to internationals.
