As seen from ECA pint of view I have few but all of them count very much. So i to need not worry. Moreover those safety state univs don’t care for ECAs. So I am tension free. LOL

About me I do just have one but no worries as chandal said state univ dont require them much.

im satisfied with my ecas…n i think it satisfies for my colz choices as well…

Why is this thread so passive ha?Where are all the people?Common on guys show up.

guys im thinking of sending 5 recos
1-princi cum gc
2- teachers
1-athletic reco
1-one guy who knows me from my childhood n whose gonna write about my communal serivices to my community …(its quite gud), this guys is chairman of the org that i have been working with since childhood
what u all think ? 5 ?

5’s just too many for any university. Most colleges discourage students from sending additional recommendations unless they feel that the other rec. letter is going to reveal some other important aspect of themselves which the required letters may not show. So, I think you should be on the safe side and just send one additional rec. letter.

so u think 5s gud?

@ccprofile
so u think 5s gud?

does anyone has princeton review 368 best colz ebook?
if yes plz PM me…

I too fell 5 is way too much for recommendation letters.2or max 3 will do.

@Prasadian

There are some colleges (like Stanford) that specifically ask you to limit the number of recos. Anyways, 5 is just overkill. 3 is ideal, if you think the 4th recommendation sheds good light, send it. You don’t want the adcoms to read the same thing about you over and over again.

yeah …u all right…guess i’ll send the 5th one just in case i get waitlisted …
ani anyones gotta princeton reviews 386 best colz ebook or list of names???

HII guyss
im new here…i read almost all the posts here…and i realllyyy think it is helpful!
will i get any school if i dont go for SAT subject test??

@capriprincess

Yes, definitely. you can get decent schools even if you dont take SAT II tests.

guys, i just registered for toefl n i also wanted to reg for 2 sat2s…
but the guy who was ‘going’ to reg my 2 sat2s said that
sat subj tst fee- $21
fee for 2 subj - $20 ( 2*10)
international fee- $28
total- $69
but isnt the $21 for one subj test n an additional 10 for another one? shouldnt total be $59 ?

Its
registration cost($21)+international fee($28)+subject cost($21 per subject if its a language test with listening else it costs $10 per subject)

so do i have to pay $69 for 2 sat2s ?? what is reg fee ($21) for?

ya…u have to pay $69…don’t know what that fee is actually for…but i guess it is similar to the admission fee we pay in our colleges; we have to again pay the tuition fee…
