<p>Yeah UCs were there… UC davis and UC Irvine… yeah UCs aretop notch but their aid is not for us. i mean we international students. I have my friend in UC Davis. He is in his freshman year studying chemical engineering. And he told me that the uni is too good but does not provide aid for international students. And I had talked to the adcom from UC davis and she told me that they donot provide much aid to int’l students but they can guide us to get aid from other sources…</p>

2030 is a gr8 score(@least 4 ME, i’ve never gone above 1920).But the blue buk doesnt guarantee that u’d get same score on the real 1.U may get lower (as sixstringrocker said) or higher (sum 1 has said this earlier).
Jus prepare 4 d worst n hope 4 da best.
Al da best 2 u n al other guyz…

<p>^^ i don’t believe that blue book is not a correct indicator thing.Blue book is the only one correct indicator of ur scores(possibly). That thing comes from the ones who make questions for official test. So there’s no strong point in saying that Blue book’s indication might not be correct…
Let me give you a simple example of what ex-students say:</p>
<p>Barrons-1600/2400
Princeton Review-2100/2400
CollegeBoard-1900/2400
Actual Performance-1950-1850/2400</p>
<p>This is an example for a particular range of score…I just want to give example of what actually happens…And this is exactly what has been happening for so many years!</p>
<p>Note: These are personal experiences of seniors. This is what many of them told me. This might not always work out!</p>

<p>@galaxian…its better to give your SAT II while u are in 12 (that is if u r planning to apply to colleges that require SAT II)…and SAT I, take ur time to prepare and whenever ur ready go for it…advices for preparation ask sarba…:p…</p>

<p>@galaxian If u are in 12th grade, take ur SATs in december, apply to colleges, send ur current results and expected result, if u get accepted…thats really nice…no tensions after high school—u’ll be able to goto college at once…
If u are in 11th grade, then also u can take ur SATs or keep practicing…since u have time, u can read novels(classics), and learn some vocab as well…and again do the same as u would do if u were in 12th grade…</p>
<p>U need to remember that u can get a college even without completing 11th grade…but u need to be exceptional…if u get a college when u are still in high school…its probably the best experience u could ever have…</p>

welcome to the community dude… me too a galaxian and nice to see sum1 so cautious about his future… i too took my toefl when i was in grade 12… so you better take it … its much more easier… even though i couldn’t be a class of 2014 its really good.</p>
