Reppppppin’ Queens, New York! :D

Since entomom deleted my posts, I just wanted to tell the Hispanics who are prospective applicants and visiting this thread to try applying to top schools like Harvard. As it has been clearly conveyed, an SAT score of so and so is not the be-all end-all of college admissions. I did not have a particularly high SAT, but I worked hard and showed committee members that I was a real person with passion and enthusiasm for knowledge, which many people fail to do. As such, please apply, fellow Hispanics! We need to become a force to be reckoned with, and we can do it! Good luck to all! :)

Did the Harvard admits receive their packets in the mail yet?

I haven’t received mine yet :(

I received my packet today. In fact, it was about an hour ago that it came by UPS.

So, Who is going to the Harvard Club reception in New York City?

Yup, came in the mail today. The Ivies even deliver in sync (well, I mean, they DID send out packets on the same day). We should create an admitted students thread to get to know one another and generally spazz over this! I am still in shock, overwhelmed, and feeling guilty over so freely giving a piece of my heart to this place already.

ugh I havent gotten my package!! :(((
I want it so so bad. I guess that’s what I get for living all the way down here in Houston
