[ *] Essays: I thought it was nice, a bit too eclectic though.
[ *] Teacher Recommendation: only one of the teachers I asked wrote an “american” style recommendation because he had been asked to do so once before (20 years ago), other one was more of a “list of accomplishments with notes of respect”, so not that great.

[ *] Strengths:SATs I suppose, perhaps also having an Abitur (pretty much guarantees a GPA of 4.0 if you aren’t an idiot.)
[ *] Weaknesses: Weak recs perhaps, no AP or IB, no awards, no school clubs (don’t exist here), vacations in the summer, started preparing senior year!
[ *] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: SAT’s and GPA probably. They emailed me because of my results, otherwise I wouldn’t have known about them!
[ /list][ b]General Comments:[ /b] Get good SAT’s if you want to get in, once they email you it’s pretty much in the bag (as far as I can tell). TAKE SCIENCE COURSES!!! Good luck to all!</p>
