hey guys! I’m actually a freshman in college now, but I applied to Rose (did not attend, for financial reasons) and received my acceptance letter in about a week and a half to two-ish weeks. I had a 27 ACT (29 science 30 math) and received about half tuition for my fin aid. I also got a nice merit scholarship but in the end other offers won out. I loved rose though, still a little mad that I couldn’t attend! Good luck to everyone in this application year!

S got his acceptance letter yesterday (11/16). His application was complete around 10/25 or so, depending on exactly when his high school information actually got to RHIT. (His school mails transcripts the old fashion way.)

His ACT composite was 33 (35 E, 34 M) and his SAT was 2190 (760 CR, 700 M, 730 W). I know, from his test scores it sounds like he should be an English major instead of an engineer!

The family was very happy he got in. He is our eldest, and Rose is the first college he has heard from, so that made it a doubly big deal in our house. His sibs all gathered round as he opened the letter, although the big stamp on the front saying something to the effect of “your hard work has paid off” took the suspense out of it :).

S received acceptance letter on Monday. ACT Composite: 36; GPA: 4.06; Top of class; 4 AP exams so far (Government, Calc AB, Chemistry, Biology); National Merit Semi-Finalist. Will honestly take some serious merit aid for us to be able to afford RHIT. He’s really hoping for Michigan’s CoE (we’re in-state for MI).

My younger S applied to RHIT. He is applying to seven schools total.

S got accepted to RHIT .He had applied in Oct and got the acceptance letter within 3 weeks

e5volcano,

We only send out decisions on or around the 15th of each month. With your application being submitted on Nov 14th, the round of decisions that will include you should be this month. We have tried to make enough decisions for two rounds to go out this month: last Friday the 10th and this Friday the 17th. If your file was complete, you should hear right around the Holidays. If you want me to check specifically for your status, pm me.

Jared thanks for the reply but there is no need!
Received my admission decision today, and I got in!!!

Now I just need to plan a visit to RHIT, I definitely need to check out the weather since I am a SoCal boy who has never seen snow in real life.

Outstanding! Congratulations. As someone else who didn’t see snow until his freshman year in college, I can tell you it’s not too much of an adjustment. Look forward to seeing you visit campus.

I just got my acceptance letter too!
e5volcano- my tour guide a few weeks ago at Rose was from SoCal too and he said he didn’t mind the cold weather because all of the academic building are connected to each other- no long treks outside from class to class in the winter :)
