**Class of 2015 University of Chicago Admissions Decisions Discussion**

I’m honored to have been accepted.

Sent from my SCH-I500 using CC App

waitlisted. hmmm…limbo

Is the number of waitlisted applicants closer to that of the acceptees or to that of the rejected candidates? I’m honestly starting to wonder…

Rejected. International Candidate requiring aid. Disappointed.
But to quote an earlier poster, “congratulations to all the accepted bastards”… You’re all brilliant.

To those who weren’t accepted and are waiting for more decisions this month, don’t be too discouraged.

Rejected.
2340, 11 APs, solid ECs. So disappointed. ***

According to the statistics for UofC on **************.com, 1615 were waitlisted and 221 were enrolled from the waitlist. Does not state for which year.

As a waitlist who has been accepted to Stanford and received a likely from duke, don’t give up hope

Rejected

Chesers your financial aid package is posted on the admitted student website? I was admitted EA and I cannot view my financial aid package

Blue –

Yes, when I scrolled down from the acceptance letter, there was a “Multiple letters are on file for this account” at the bottom, and a clickable Financial Aid option, though I’m not sure if this holds for EA.

International accepted from Pakistan. =D

OMG accepted with a 770CR and a 680M…and essays that didn’t follow the conventional “quirky nature.” So freaking excited!!!

My son was accepted! 2320 SAT, 3.9 UW GPA, no hooks… so excited for him.

Rejected, but not too disappointed. I didn’t really feel like the right fit for UChicago when I visited and I feel in love with Georgetown and have already been accepted EA with a great FinAid packet. Congrats to all of those who were accepted! You definitely deserve after all the blood sweat and tears that went into that application!

Accepted, but no aid=NO WAY I can even think about attending. I qualify for free and reduced lunch, but not any financial aid… guess the ranch that my family has owned and operated for 100 years’s land value killed us. Nonetheless, I’m so honored just to get in! Chicago wasn’t really my first choice, anyway. I hope the fact that I can’t attend will make someone on the waitlist’s dreams come true! :D
