Hey CCers! Do we have any fellow class of 2015ers? If so, say where you want to go to boarding school, and some general reasons why.

I am going to apply to Choate, Andover, Exeter, Lawrenceville, Deerfield, and two local private schools.

I would like to attend boarding school because I think it will prepare me for college better than public school, and I just think the experience would be fun :)

dont need to bump after 2 min ><

Haha, I was bored :)

Hey, I`ll be a happydog15 if I get into. Msex,Groton,Loomis,St.Georges & Tabor.
Studying for the ssats all summer.

I’m going into Groton’s eighth grade this September, does that still count?? haha

Hey! I’m only two years younger than you! :)

haha i know. it’s just so weird to see my second round of applicants as a non-applicant. good luck!

@synchroswimmer, haha yes, going to Groton for 8th grade counts. And congrats for getting in :).

This is my first round of applicants…Good Luck Class of 2015.

:) thanks! i can’t wait to go, summer has been really boring so far…

Gah… I feel so old. My little sister is class of 15. I’m trying to get her to apply to boarding school, but no luck so far!

Ah the young-uns. Good luck little childers.

twentyfourteenforlife.

Okay I do feel young but I’ve been wanting to go to college since 5th grade (who’s with me?) so I figured if I can’t skip 5 grades (which wouldn’t be a good idea) private school would give me brighter opportunities. It would be amazing to be challenged, try new activities, have courses I am into, be in a tight school community, etc. (not to mention a somewhat better change at going to a good COLLEGE) That’s why I’m going to apply for the 2011-2012 school year, although I’m not sure exactly would be the best fit for me so far. Here’s what I’ve been looking at: Exeter, Andover, Choate, Concord, Episcopal. I honestly think Exeter, Andover, and Choate are near impossible grasps, but I’m going to try.

I’m looking at Middlesex, Concord, Andover, and Choate. And Andover and Choate are reaches for me as well.

To all you people who think Exeter and Andover and such are out of reach, you guys have a good head start. I mean, I’m entering my prep year in the fall, and I hadn’t even heard of Andover or Exeter before fall of last year! And I started studying for my SSAT about a month before I took it!

So take the time now to actually study for the SSAT, keep your grades up next year, and do plenty of extracurriculars! It’ll really help in the application process.

These schools are NOT out of grasp! I never even knew about these schools less than a year ago, and guess where I’m headed now :)

Bump!

Who is excited to hopefully start-or continue (synchroswimmer) their boarding school adventure this fall? Good luck to everyone!

Me. (: March 10 is so close…
