My interview is scheduled over the phone for Tuesday. The interviewer seemed like an extremely nice person so I am exciteddd. Talking to an intelligent person about things Iām interested in? How could it possibly go wrong?

Ugh, did my Brown interview yesterday but I hated how it was so rushed. The alumni association in my Sacramento area met at a school and gave 72 kids 30-minute slots from 10 AM-2 PM. Not to mention the guy who came after me strolled straight into our room [portable classroom] and the usher hastened me out the door. Didnāt even get to say a proper goodbye to my interviewer. Definitely not like my other interviews with Harvard, Rice, Carnegie Mellon, and Pomona - at those I didnāt feel rushed at all. Makes me almost wish that I had requested an outside interview and met at a place or the interviewerās house rather than Interview Day. -_-

Had my interview today! My research on various forums and websites told me questions would be along the lines of āTell me about your passionsā and āWhat are your goals?ā NOT 2000-word essay prompts. Damn. Well at least the interview doesnāt count for muchā¦

Hey I have a question, I just found out my midterm grades and while I aced all of my other exams, I did poorly on one (I got a C). When my counselor sends in the mid-year report, do you think this will cause me to get rejected?

Did anyone else not yet receive a username to track your application? Brown sent me a confirmation e-mail back when I submitted my app, but I still donāt have my account informationā¦

@littlepenguin. Im in a similar situation cause I emailed Brown in Jan and they said my application was complete and Iād get my user/pass soon. Would email be the best way to get my user/pass combo (im international so a phone call would mean staying up till like 1am)?

^^ My philosophy teacherās favorite word is hegemony, oh God. I do think gender is neither a binary nor a spectrum, but I just love Brown and the fact that everyone in these videos has a Mac.

Hey everyone! I had my alumni interview at a coffee shop yesterday, and was actually pleasantly surprisedā¦he only asked me 2 or 3 questions and it lasted for an hour!

I was rejected through Early Decision. Not very great test scores (27 & 1820), so I didnāt really expect to get in. Still sucks though! Also, I didnāt have a great interviewā¦ The guy was really blah and it was hard to be enthusiastic about the school when he didnāt seem to care at all, which sucks since I REALLY did want to go there! I guess itās all for the best though. Good luck to everyone applying RD!!!

Hi fellow RDers! I had my interview this past Saturday at a local coffee shop and it went great! My interviewer asked me a lot of questions but it was definitely more of a laid back conversation. I definitely felt like I got across how passionate I am about Brown, which was really my number one goal for the interview.

Hope you all are hanging in there. I know itās a little early to ask this, but does anyone know around what date last year decisions were released? Sorry for being so antsy!

If they follow the same process as other years, you will be able to find out your acceptance via your log in on the official notification date. Depending on how reliable snail-mail is in your area, you may receive your packet that day (unlikely), or soon after. (Or the dreaded thin letter).

Hey! Iām a deferred ED applicant and I just wanted to confirm that you will be able to find out your admissions decision on selfservice.brown.edu on March 29th after 5PM. Brown will not be sending out snail-mail decisions, so be sure to check online!
