Still waiting. I live in Colorado. I hope they get here soon.

I’m in Colorado as well, the wait is killing me. Georgetown is the first school I hear from, my top choice and one of the hardest on my list to get into, so no pressure, right?

Ahhhh good luck!!! :)

good luck everyone! everyone on this thread deserves to go, after all, they all spent hours pouring over a college forum eh?

i was wondering when the letters would be delivered here >.> i live in us territory so it sucks. if it didnt reach colorado yet, im sure it cant reach the other side of the globe. LOL. im not an international applicant so i dont think they will send me an email… or are they sending emails?

if you don’t mind me asking acorn, where do you live?

ACCEPTED INTO THE COLLEGE!! any other internationals out there?

I’m international! Still no word though ):
Where are you from pmsavard?

YES! Internationals finally started receiving replies! pmsavard, what’re your stats??

I go to school in Japan - my interviewer called me an hour ago, congratulating and notifying me of my acceptance, so i haven’t even received the email yet

i’ll post my full stats later on the thread but basically: 3.94 (UW), 740 CR, 760 M, soccer captain/MVP 2 years, literary magazine editor-in-chief, decent essays, excellent counselor rec, 1 average teacher rec, and if it helps anyone, i only took 1 AP class and i forgot to send in the score…so it’s not all about the numbers!

@pmsavard - wow, that’s so exciting! congrats!
what country do you live in? i’m still waiting on my email…but more excitedly now that there is a chance i could get it today!

oh and i only sent in one SAT II which was a 760 in Math

congrats to all who got in and good luck for everyone still waiting to here (we all totally understand what you’re going through)!

@acorn0826: i don’t know if they’d send emails to us territories, but if you don’t get your letter by tomorrow, you have the option of calling to get your decision.

I have a question. I never sent in any SAT IIs, but I took three like it was advised. Since I was accepted, do I still need to send them in?

^No, you do not need to send them in.

does anyone know if we can call them on the 15th in the morning? or do we have to wait for the 15th to be over and call on the 16th?

You can call on the 15th morning.

What’s the point in calling?

just got accepted to the college!! so happy!

@kmni22: congrats! you deserve it, completely
to all the accepted students: have you guys gotten a call from GAAP? i thought it was such a thoughtful thing for Georgetown to do, and they timed the phone call to me perfectly (they called at around 6:00, I got it at like 2:30 the same day).
