[] Essays: Really strong. I poured so much into the common app. Imagine boiling tomato sauce until it is literally pure tomato granules; that’s how much they were edited!
[] Teacher Recommendation: I can assume great. my Apush teacher loved me
[] Counselor Rec: probably better than most. I am in a large public high school, but I saw my counselor ALOT throughout my time, so she knows me pretty well. I gave her very good input to use. She was very aware of my large role in the school music scene.

[/ul]Reflection[ul]
[] Strengths: Test Scores, ECs, Essays
[] Weaknesses: GPA (especially early on. I had a few B’s and 2 C’s in soph/freshman year, so my gpa is far from 4.0 perfect perfect)
[li] Why you think you were accepted/deferred/denied: I knew why I was applying to wes, and I’m sure they could see it in my app. My essay was about how I live to speak to people and the world. Very existential/weslike.[/li][/ul]General Comments: Goodluck to everyone for the class of 2016! For future applicants: I would always scour the forums to find someone who had goofed a small bit sophomore and freshman year as validation that I could still get into top schools. Let me tell you that two C’s in Spanish 4 didn’t keep me out of Wes. Lets schools know that you are weird and that you hate one subject and love the other, but let them know that your weirdness is charismatic and endearing.
I’m so happy!!!

Waitlisted valedictorian private school, 4.28 GPA. Did anyone get in? That’s ok, BC admitted me early and then there is the waiting game for the ivies…
