[li] Why you think you were accepted/deferred/denied: There are so many people who have clearly better stats than me, I am surprised I was accepted! However, I had a great time writing my essay and I think it reflects me well. I had other schools say they enjoyed my essay, so maybe that’s what did it.[/li][/ul]General Comments:
I’m stoked to be accepted! Having lived in a rural area of Hawaii (basically chilling on the beach) for my whole life, my experience in the “real world” is pretty limited. Going out east seems a little scary, but I’m excited for this new experience at a great school.

I’m an alumni interviewer for Wesleyan. Out of 5 candidates I talked to this year, one was admitted and another wait-listed. These two were from the same school, both doing the same activities (2nd in state band competition, yearbook, etc.) and I’m hoping they’ll be working together at Wesleyan, too! This was perhaps the strongest group of candidates I have had in one year, and I’ve done this for 20 years or so.
