For those who are getting an error message when they click on the “learn of our decision” link, it does not mean that you were necessarily denied or waitlisted. My DD was accepted, but the first two times she clicked on the link, she got the error message too. Close your browser and try again.
Congratulations to those accepted, and to those who were waitlisted, your stats are amazing and you will end up at the perfect college for you. Don’t be discouraged!

Congrats to everyone who’s accepted and {{hugs}} to those of you waitlisted or rejected.

My D went to the midnight Hunger Games, overslept, then rushed out to school. She hasn’t checked the portal yet. I’ll be on the edge of my seat until we all get home tonight. Fingers crossed…

Those of you waitlisted it was probably your essays or you didn’t express any interest in attending the school.

I don’t know if I’ll go yet, I gotta hear back from a few more schools and financial aid is a real big concern

Have decisions been released for international students?

I also got waitlisted. 2120 SAT’s and in the top 2% of my class.

Rejected, I don’t think I realized how competitive bucknell is…oh well. I just have to wait for the rest of my schools now.

I was waitlisted. GPA: 3.75UW and I’m not sure weighted but I’m taking 4 IB HLs… 2170. Maybe I should have sent my good SAT II scores… I’m really disappointed, and I’m mentally preparing for rejections from all my other schools now. However, Bucknell was one of my least preferred choices so my essays may not have been passionate enough. I had little intention of attending Bucknell, but it is still disappointing to hear that I wasn’t accepted.

@FerrisOddoye I am an international student (Sort of. I’m not an American citizen, I live abroad but I have an American residence) and I my admission decision was on the Bucknell Checklist page.

I have been put on the Wait List. If I sign up to be kept on the list, does that mean that if I get an offer of admission, do I have to accept the offer? I guess I’m wondering if the list is binding in some way.

I’m not sure that a wait list could ever be binding. Theoretically, one could get on several wait lists. I’m certainly not the expert, but I’ve never heard of a binding wait list. Of course, if there was one and the student agreed to a binding offer, I’d imagine they’d go to the very top of the wait list. Really doubt it exists, especially since when I go to the Bucknell wait list form page, it doesn’t mention it.

Accepted.

You know, I’m seeing some people here with amazing stats who were waitlisted or not accepted, and it makes me wonder if there are some majors that are far more difficult to get into than others, and you did have to apply to a specific area. Does anyone know if that could have something to do with it?

To everyone on here who was so nice to me last night about being waitlisted, I just got into Lehigh!!! And although Bucknell was my second choice, Lehigh was my first and I couldn’t be happier! Thank you so much for your support and I wish everyone the best of luck in the coming weeks for their other decisions. Always keep your head up and remember you will end up where you are supposed to be.

Waitlisted
SAT 2240, SAT II: Math II 800, Chemistry 800, US History 770. 4 AP so far(all 5s) 3 more APs for senior year. I got accepted by Lafayette although I prefer Bucknell. I am an international student and I applied for quite a lot of financial aid. That probably played a factor in the admission process.
