my son was accepted. letter didn’t say anything about $ - would it be in this letter or part of FAFSA?

The letter should say if he got a scholarship. UNH works on a tier system, depending on SAT scores. I think an 1850 nets you 1K and 1970 nets you 4K (these are instate rates, OOS is higher.))

website states for OOS last year, 1970 SAT is $10k, 1760 SAT is $6k.

I submitted my application Oct. 13 -_- been complete since at least Nov. 1 I do not like this waiting haha
SAT: 1670
ACT:25
GPA: 3.3
State: Virginia
Major: Microbiology

^^^
Where can I see this tier system thing for out of state?
What would a 32 ACT get?

Accepted today!! What a great surprise:)

did you all apply EA or are some RD being notified already? D applied late December reg just trying to figure when she will get a response-Thanks

Anyone who applies before the early action date, regardless of whether they are applying early or reg decision are considered for early action. That’s what admissions told us when we called.

Accepted today!
Regular decision.
2.85 GPA, 1880 SATs (1230 M+CR)
OOS, African American. Undeclared major. No scholarship but i wasn’t expecting one.

Hey , I checked my portal today and it said :

Application Status: Decision Made
Decision: Admit Regular Review
Current Program
B Sci in Environmental Engr

I have no clue what this means , am I in ?

nik2593- That means you are accepted! Congrats!!

where do you find the status on the portal?

Yay !!!

How does one know if they get a scholarship ?

^ it will be in acceptance letter

Did you all apply EA? My son applied 11/22, transcripts from H.S. sent 12/6. I wonder if we’ll hear soon.

I was accepted
GPA: 3.27
SAT: 1700/1120
ACT: 25

I haven’t received any email yet from UNH yet , only the portal decision is there.

My son received a letter yesterday that said they are deferring him to the regular application pool. His GPA is 3.2 and SAT 1870, and his first quarter grades were a 3.5, so I’m guessing they want to see if his trend is real by waiting for the full semester grades. The letter was dated 1/13/2012.

My Stats: Accepted
3.81 gpa
1800 SAT
Anyone know if UNH gives good financial aid?

How do you change your major once you’ve been admitted?
