<p>Got the coming days status yesterday, now just the agony of waiting. Does it mean anything if the picture stays at UP rather than change to the lion or does it not matter at all?</p>

<p>I applied for Musical Theatre so I don’t know if it’s different but I still have the status “Your application has been received and is being reviewed. Thank you for applying to Penn State.” And I applied September 25th and still haven’t heard, granted I also turned in the honors app stuff…also it can’t be by GPA- I have a 4.5 weighted and 4.0 unweighted and haven’t heard.</p>

Got accepted into the college of engineering a week ago 
Im an international student living in dubai of indian origin.</p>
<p>TOEFL(iBT) - 111
SAT - 1800 (screwed up big time)
SAT Subject tests - Physics - 740, Maths level 2 - 640 ( kinda low)
Studying under the CBSE system, so my current percentage is 85%. Predicted percentage is 93% by the end of the academic year.
Lots of extra curricula activities, including basketball, track, vice president of the students council, vice captain of the indus house, volunteer work, summer internship.
Great essay, if i say so my self.</p>
<p>Penn state is not my number 1 choice.
I have got accepted into purdue as well as Ohio state.
Got a few more decisions left, so will decide later. </p>

<p>I applied November 29th and my status just changed to the following “Your application is complete, all of your required materials are here, and we are reviewing your credentials. A decision will be available here as soon as one is made.” does that mean that I will be hearing back in a few days or like some of you might it take months? My unweighted GPA is a 3.6 and my weighted is a 4.2, ACTs are a 34. OH and I applied to the Architecture Major</p>
<p>Does anyone know how Penn State organizes their admissions department? Some people hear quickly and others take forever… someone must have some insight into how this works?</p>

<p>Tiger: app was submitted on 11-20 and transcript was mailed out by the 24th of nov but made it there dec 1st due to the holiday rush but since it was postmarked before that I was still looked at fir the priority deadline! so everything was in by Dec 1st and I found out on the 19th of dec. letter arrived the same day.</p>

<p>Understanding that since my status has not changed to the coming days status this morning, I (like many others of you) have to wait until January now. This is very disconcerting…I reallyyy wish they would hurry up.</p>
