Post on here if you've been admitted to Hofstra for fall of 2013! I'm waiting on my admission decision still.

Just got my letter today; accepted and honors college :)

Honors college accepted, with the best merit aid I’ve seen so far. Still depends on the need based aid, but this is really good!

Will have to wait until I get home from work to see if there’s a letter, but logged on and saw that DS had been accepted! Hooray!

My daughter was accepted today with a good merit offer (I think)!

My daughter was also accepted today with a very good merit offer.

accepted and honors college! Also got the presidential scholarship for 22,000- the best merit aid I’ve gotten. NEW YORK HERE I COME! :)

DS had already opened his letter when I got home - Dean’s scholarship for $13k/year!

I just got my acceptance letter today!!

Accepted and great merit offer!!! Also did anyone else have a handwritten note attached to their letter? They wished me a happy birthday (it was a few days ago)! No other college has gotten that personal with me I was so surprised

Accepted today

My daughter was accepted yesterday with a very nice merit offer. She also had a handwritten note complimenting her essay. Nice touch, made her very happy.

My daughter also received her acceptance yesterday, into Honors College with $22K Presidential Scholarship. She’s an intended theatre major, & there was a handwritten note attached on a post-it: “Hope to see you onstage at Hofstra soon!” A very nice touch to an already wonderful, wonderful letter! Hofstra is one of her top choices, & since it’s the first school she’s gotten into & with such awesome merit aid, it looks like she may very well be onstage there soon! :)

I assume everyone who has been accepted applied EA 1?

Accepted! Also with a scholarship! :)

Smithmkt, yes, my D applied EA.

Just realized I got a presidential scholarship worth $74k. Decisions, decisions

Accepted with 18.5k yearly, will not attend though, I had a post it attached to mine saying keep up the good work lol.

Where are you all from? My daughter is headed to NYC from Virginia and wondesr how many outta state students are at Hofstra. She was also accepted to Fordham, so there are some decisions to be made!

Accepted into the Honors College! Wooo! I also got $22,000 yearly, and a cute handwritten note
And ktcollege, I’m also out of state, from California. It will be a looong way home during breaks if I decide to go to NY. So, not sure if I will be going to Hofstra, but it’s a nice option.
