Class of 2017 EA applicants?

I also have to add- I don’t know many parents who would just “give” their kids a grade. It doesn’t benefit them. It should be about the education itself more than the grade to me anyway. If I gave my son his grades, he would be ill-prepared, plus I would be teaching him dishonesty and zero work ethic!

Just because someone does good on the SAT does not mean they would get good grades in a regular school an vice versa. The person ranked 3/531 in my school only got a 1940 on his SAT. My brother is ranked 39 with a 2190. My friend is ranked 79 with a 2000 SAT.

I have also taken classes through a community college and they are tons easier than the AP Courses in schoool

HighSchoolAsian: I agree with you on both counts. My son does have AP courses as well, but those are hard to have recognized as a homeschooler-again, we were accredited so that was different. Homeschooling is just a different approach. I don’t think it is better or worse than public school- both have advantages and disadvantages. It is sometimes difficult to compare the two-especially with stats. Good luck to you in your studies!
