<p>Will we all hear back on the 15th? I thought I read that in past years sometimes it was the 13th…</p>
<p>I’ve heard that a week or so before they post the results, they email everyone saying the exact date and time that they’re going to post them. December 15th is a Saturday, so it’ll probably be before then, because they usually post results on weekdays. Probably the 12th or 13th or 14th, I’m guessing.</p>
<p>I applied on the 14th ED1. Cannot wait to hear back, it’s practically all I think about. Funny, when I made my name on here I was set on Brown, but now I don’t like it much anymore…just something about it. Counselor said I was a solid candidate with good chances to get to Vassar: 760 CR/780 W/680 M and 4.2 weighted GPA, 3.9 UW and a solid number of APs and strong extracurriculars at a rigorous private high school in the Midwest. Only thing that worries me are SAT IIs (haven’t heard back about the Nov Lit test yet) and my plethora of 4’s on APs. Also, if I get in my financial situation is tricky and worrisome, but I talked to the financial aid office and they said it should be “good”. I don’t want to be one of those kids who has to decline ED because of financial aid circumstances! I just want to get in and attend. I truly love this school.</p>
<p>So happy I just found out I got a 32 on the ACT! My testing scores are the weakest part of my application so I’m happy that they are now in the upper 50%/ above the mean score. How can we confirm that they’ve received our scores?</p>
<p>Also, we have to send 1st quarter grades. My 1st quarter doesn’t end until next week. They will accept them being sent then; right?</p>
<p>That should be fine. They may call your school if they get impatient. My school hadn’t released grades yet but my guidance counselor printed them out special.</p>
<p>PS, happy Thanksgiving, y’all. Only about three weeks until we find out if we can be thankful for Vassar. <3</p>

<p>Wait, I totally missed anything about financial aid with the application. Did I miss the deadline? If I get in, am I not gonna get financial aid?</p>

<p>marleegrace, I’m pretty sure the deadline for financial aid forms was the same as the application deadline, November 15 
I have no idea what their policy is on financial aid forms being late, but I would definitely email the admissions office, and turn the forms in like RIGHT NOW.</p>
<p>Vassar’s financial aid FAQ says this:
Q: Will failure to meet the deadlines affect the possibility of receiving aid?</p>
<h2>A: Yes. For the best chance of receiving aid, submit all materials by the deadlines.</h2>
<p>So this is kind of good because at least it doesn’t outright say “you cannot receive financial aid if you miss the deadline,” it just says you’ll the “best chance” if you submit them by the deadline, which implies that you still have /some/ chance if you miss the deadline</p>
<p>Don’t worry! I emailed them a while back and they said the deadline wasn’t strict and to get them in as soon as possible! :)</p>

<p>Rory, I’ve been hating the wait since November 15…
Also I’ve been super stressed because my counselor STILL hasn’t signed my ED agreement through Naviance yet, and Vassar emailed me saying that the absolute latest they’ll accept it is this Tuesday the 27th. And my counselor’s not returning my emails, so if she doesn’t sign it today I’ll have go talk to her tomorrow and it’s just annoying :/</p>
<p>Have you guys had any dreams/nightmares where you got accepted/rejected? I dreamed that I got accepted, so hopefully that was one of those dreams that predict the future haha</p>
