I did interview with Wellesley, 2170 SAT, 5.0 weighted, 4.0 weighted, 32 ACT, NMF, economic activism, volunteered at an art gallery (100+hr), and several championships in debate.

What does this likely mean? Are there any statistics on how many get accepted? I am concerned because I have 4 b’s on my midterm, which they saw, but still.

@kate244, Midterm grades will only affect your result if you suddenly go from As to Ds/Fs (basically). Keep in mind though that colleges DO rescind acceptances. Yet going from As to Bs second semester senior year is not the end of the world; just don’t start skipping school :)

Same here! If I get accepted into my other two top choices it will be a very hard decision. However, Wellesley is the only one of those that is all-undergrad (a definite pro in my book) and the only one where I have already felt the support of their network in my (relatively small) city. I really love the school and I can’t wait to visit. I’ve seen pictures, but I’ve heard it’s even more breathtaking in person.

Does a likely pretty much mean you’re accepted? Is there any reason why I wouldn’t get an acceptance if I got a likely?

And congrats to everyone! Haha I just remembered to check today…turns out they’ve been up for more than a week and are being taken down today! Perfect timing, I guess!

I’ve never heard of someone not getting accepted after receiving a “likely”. It would probably only happen if your grades took a major dive or you got arrested or something.
