@nepalimussa .yes it is a good aid and if you look at earlier posts you will infer where next.

I understand the consolation but do not be scary man; there are whole lot of people applying to Trinity this fall. :P

I understand the consolation but do not be scary man; there are whole lot of people applying to Trinity this fall. :P

@nepalimussa was correct when he said that Trinity is one of the scariest amongst the top-tier and LACs… actually guys who have been there have said it is almost like living in the Condo…

The official line is always, “Neighborhood is getting better”… we all know what that is about…

anyways, what will you guys be doing after feb 1 other than biting your nails and waiting anxiously for the good news?

May be letting the nails grow longer for the time after the RD decisions( for bitting of course.) :p…jk

*biting .

^haha.

guys i have a problem. I already sent my ISFAA, ISCOF and Bank statement to the colleges. Now they are asking me for the tax returns. What is a tax return? Do they want me to send the receipt we get after we pay the taxes? But it is in Nepali and I have no idea where should I go to get it translated. Will it take many days?

My parent’s salary sheet is also in Nepali. Can you tell me what should I do? What did you guys do? i am really worried.

@nepalimussa

You can get your Parents’ employees to create an Income Statement written in English, or if that isn’t a plausible option, you can get them translated into English. Fortunately, my parents’ employers wrote it in English, so it saved me the trouble! :D

Moreover, it is generally the trend that we Nepalese students don’t send in our Parents’ tax returns, as it is a lot of hassle. You could simply inform the college that your parents haven’t filed in the tax returns for this year. Or, if that doesn’t work, you’ll ultimately have to go to a government office like Notary Public and get them translated as well as attested for verification.

Good luck!

Get an income statement from your parent’s employer… Instruct them to type in English…

wow guys thanks. i appreciate it.

but what is an income statement? is it something like “this employee works here and gets paid this much minus the taxes” written in an official letterhead of the company?

alrighty. so i need to get to action.

Boys I have applied to Skidmore.I have got 1320 on my Mathematics and Reading combined. What are my chances of getting in?

We cannot definitely predict from one dimension of your Application.

Bibesh, I applied to Skidmore too… however, hardly any Nepalese has been to Skidmore in recent years… so let us cross our fingers… Mine is RD app however…

Actually, one person from Nepal did get into Skidmore for the Class of 2015. She didn’t enroll, however.

So keep the hope alive ^_^

I am a new member. So, let me introduce myself.I am a product of Trinity International College.I attended the H.S.E.B examination and got 83%.I am hoping of an acceptance from Skidmore College as I have not applied to many colleges.Mates, what are my chances of going to Saratoga Springs in August?

@bibesh: i know you want to hear that you have a great chance at Skidmore and that your score is good enough to pull you through the admissions. i know how you feel when you ask others to chance you. you want someone to validate your hope of getting in.

But lets be practical. The truth is everyone here has a score in that range and probably everyone has applied to Skidmore. You have a fierce competition ahead of you.

If you want to know if your score is in par with Skidmore kids, of course you do.
