University of Rochester's App Tracking is THE BEST. Seriously. I love being able to see my app move through the people step by step. :D I'm applying Priority Review and my admissions counselor is already reviewing my app. Who else is applying for the class of 2017?

I will apply, but with the regular application due to 1 of January. Best of luck and maybe we will meet next year! :)

Unicameral, does it show on your MyRoc page as under review? My daughter is applying early notification, but her application shows as not complete. The only thing missing is the mid-year report, which they won’t get until the end of January!

I applied PR. All my info is submitted and I had off campus interview.

mamabear1234,

All applications are technically “Incomplete” until the Mid Year Report is received (typically in February).

As long as the other required items have been received, the file will be ready for review.

mamabear, it says my app is incomplete but also shows that it is on step 2 and is being read by my regional admissions person. :)

TS is correct. All my info is complete except mid year report. It shows me on step 2. Dec. 1 is PR deadline. I spoke with my assigned counselor and confirmed my file was ready for review

OK, thanks. She did not scroll down far enough to see the steps listed out! I’m a little upset with her that she did not send the optional graded writing sample though.

I called admissions re: writing sample. They said not to worry,it’s just available if you’ve done a published research paper or published a poem etc.

For all you hopefuls, I just want to mention that unless URoc has changed, you will not see your acceptance (or denial) posted on your URoc page. UR will mail that to you.

I applied EN! :)

Do you mean Priority Review??

Oh yeah… sorry I thought it was early notification for some reason.

My app says it’s at the final stage of the review process. Does that mean that I will get a decision soon?

No they hold all the apps until the same day I think, no matter what.
