Class of 2017 RD Discussion Thread

Waitlisted.

They weren’t kidding when they said GA T raised the standards this year…

rejectedd kind of expected with all these new admissions statistics

Waitlisted… Do any of you guys know how many people they put on waitlist and how many they eventually accept them? What’s the general percentage like? Any idea?

Accepted yay

I don’t think it’s by last name because mine starts with y… So excited! :D

No email for me yet…

@Dasanii

Last year 978 were offered a place on the wait list, 650 accepted the placement, and 43 ended up being accepted…so about 7% which is pretty terrible. Read the link they sent you ([Wait List | Admission](<a href=“Blow the Whistle! (404 error: page not found) | Undergraduate Admission”>Blow the Whistle! (404 error: page not found) | Undergraduate Admission)) for more info.

georgiaonmymind - Yes, he has to start during the summer. Here’s a link that tells you all about it: [Late Short Summer Session | Admission](<a href=“Blow the Whistle! (404 error: page not found) | Undergraduate Admission”>Blow the Whistle! (404 error: page not found) | Undergraduate Admission)

Congrats!

Rejected. :frowning:
Very disheartening since I haven’t gotten many acceptances to any top 10 engineering schools. The only one I’ve been accepted to was Purdue. But I got into Case Western today, so its not all bad.

Good Luck to Everyone else.

For those of you who got accepted, would you mind posting your emails? (excluding your names, of course). I just want to see what it’s like.

the actuall letter, not the address

Admitted for late summer session! No problem here! So excited for my son!!

Son was wait listed. Based on last years stats likely will not take one of the spots. Accepted to Purdue School of Engineering so will likely be going there. Congrats to all those accepted.
