<p>GPA: 2.7-2.8 leading up to this year, had just under 3 last term junior year. SO tfar this year with AP physics, AP psych, Hon. Calc, Hon english, etc I had a 3.83 first term and 4.0 second term.</p>
<p>SAT: 2110- 690 m, 720 cr, 700 w</p>
<p>EC’s: 4 years of cross country, indoor track and spring track, varsity 3 years. DOn’t expect to be recruited but I’ve been pretty successful with this. President of chess club, I’ve had countless service hours at my church’s food pantry (since 4th grade), physics olympics, help with student gov.</p>
<p>rec’s should be pretty great from physics teacher and counselor.</p>
<p>Reasoning for the bad grades being a parent having cancer, death in the family.</p>
<p>I got deferred by Northeastern and was thinking of another boston school to apply to. I do love BU but I’ve been ruling it out due to my GPA</p>

<p>Awards: National Merit Finalist, Ap scholar with distinction (I think that’s what it is), national honor society, California Scholarship Federation</p>
<p>I love Boston and would be thrilled to attend BU. On an unrelated note, does anyone know when decisions come out?</p>
<p>Is there a “projected date” for when decisions are going to be released? Getting super anxious and excited to hear! BU is one of my top schools!</p>

<p>really doubt I am going to hear any good news… Just got rejected from EDII NYU so I already lost all hope… This school is the last one that i REALLY WANT to go to. Otherwise college life will just suck =/</p>
<p>Last year my daughter got an email first on the last Saturday of March. Two days later the hard copy came in the mail. That doesn’t mean it will be on the same day this year though.</p>
<p>SAT 2080, DEFINITELY the worst part of my application.</p>

I got denied by NYU Stern ED2 so now I’m very nervous about getting into BU. </p>

<p>For those interested CAS’ twitter account said this today: Admission decisions will be sent out via email the week of March 4th. We cannot wait for the new CAS class!</p>
<p>Last year all admissions were sent out on the same day, regardless of what a school you applied to. Either it’s a typo or decisions come out next week for you guys. Good luck!</p>
<p>I just checked the CC BU thread from last year and people didn’t start posting their admission decisions until 3/24. I hope that the week of 3/4 this year is not a false alarm.</p>
