@wallrus75 I refuse to lower myself down to your level…

Should I check now?

it’s a no for us. :(

congratulations to everybody EXCEPT @wallrus75 Shame on you. I won’t be so nice as to contratulate you for your rudeness and smugness.

Too scared.

@mgrcollege13, I’d say go for it. Your decision is already there. Good or bad news, better to get it over with.

Sigh, not a finalist. I obviously knew it was coming, but its still upsetting.
Nevertheless, congrats to all the finalists!

Bummer. Oh well…was not meant to be I guess.

For future reference for applicants, I was not called but found out about finalist status (for Rodriguez) through the Pathway.

I’d say now it’s time for a run in the rain.

^I wish it was raining where I was. I feel like crawling up in my bed…

Question: if admitted to Wash U for normal admissions, would you guys go?

@takethemoney All depends on money. My parents can’t afford to much.

@Wallrus75: Unnecessary

@ZombieDante & everyone else who isn’t a finalist: Please don’t let it get you down too much. You’re (or your son/daughter is) no doubt extremely accomplished in your own right and will shine no matter where you go.

I’m still waiting to hear from my brother but it’ll be ok either way :)

darn, not a finalist for Mylonas nor Nemerov. Oh well, I was kind of expecting that…

Will I still go – nope. This really was my only chance for going to washu. We could never afford it without one of these scholarships. Plus I have good offers elsewhere, though those places are nowhere near washu’s caliber. Oh well, not meant to be I guess. (That still doesn’t make it feel any less crummy though!)

@zombie – yes the rain is only making it more sad!

^I know how you feel. Right now I’m regretting I didn’t apply to more in between schools…sigh…oh well.

I would still go. I mean, I have togo regardless because I was accepted

Not a finalist for Ervin. Expected, barely did the app. :P

But if I’m lucky enough to get into wustl now, I won’t go. MIT seems more attractive in every aspect now that merit $$$ is out of the picture, because they have better financial aid.

Yeah same, my scholarship for my state school is looking awfully appealing at the moment… (ZombieDante and mgrcollege13)

(sorry, I hit reply too early) I have to go anyway because I was accepted ED. It would have been nice to get some aid, though… congratulations to all the finalists, anyway :)
