<p>There was a picture of a tube but there’s no way it was for EA. It was on tumblr or something; a girl in England apparently got it. Which doesn’t make any sense, if the tubes had gone out there would be a lot of others reported in the states before they got to England. Must have been Questbridge or photoshopped.</p>

<p>Also international applicants can’t apply EA. In any case, it would be easy enough to get a tube that looks very similar to an MIT tube so no photoshopping would be needed.</p>

<p>Definitely photoshopped. She basically took some picture of an MIT tube for the class of 2010 that’s been on the Internet forever and replaced the 2010 with 2017.</p>

<p>Regarding the photoshopped tube picture, one blogger pointed out that you can tell the signature on the letter seems to be that of Marilee Jones, MIT’s former dean of admissions who resigned back in 2007.</p>
