I would say that your SAT is a little bit low. Work on it this year and try to make it above 2200 (or 2250 preferably). Make sure your rec’s, activities, and essays are good. Apply ED and you are in.

As stated above, if you can bring your SAT into the mid-2200s (which is perfectly feasible given the time you have until you actually apply), I feel that you would have as solid a shot as anyone. Make sure you show demonstrated interest (on-campus visit, interview, etc…), as you can’t exactly express what makes you interested in WUSTL due to the lack of a supplement. At the moment, you would still have a fair chance at gaining admittance (I was admitted with nearly identical stats), but of course, with a university as selective as WUSTL, it’s impossible to say for sure who gets in and who does not.

ED will certainly help you lots! I do believe you have a reasonable chance. Increasing your SAT will only help your chances. Be sure to send in any SAT IIs that you think you did well on. It’ll show the college your strengths and help you come off as more well-rounded since you’ll be demonstrating your knowledge in more specific subjects. I got in with not-so-amazing stats; I only had a 2180 SAT score, I applied Regular Decision, and I’m not a URM either. Certainly you will have a shot.

Applying ED will show demonstrated interest. My son had decent test scores, but not as high as many others, but he showed interest, and when he visited the campus, not only did he have an interview (with an admissions officer, as he interviewed over Xmas break), he also met with one of the Classics Professors, who likely put in a very good word. Result- he was accepted. Take some time to write an essay that conveys who you really are. Good luck.

your numbers really aren’t much of an issue. they look solid enough, maybe get that SAT to a 2200-2300 range

what’s more important are your extracurricular activities. it’s crucial to have things that show continuity as well as some passion.

since washu does not have a supplemental essay, your common app is ever so much more important. that’s your only shot to really show who you are beyond what is on paper.
you really have to show them who you are in your writing.

demonstrated interest is HUGE. even if you are applying ED, i would recommend visiting and having an on campus interview.
attend information sessions in your area. they track that
