It is now 1:30 on the East Coast, and no one has posted any admission results. That would suggest either that the letters did not go out by FedEx, or Pomona used a late afternoon delivery option, or Pomona did not select Saturday delivery.

Will there be no other forms of notification? So you’re automatically rejected if you don’t receive an envelope in the next couple of days?

Got in. I’m in the LA area. It came through the regular mail, not FedEx.

God, that was quick. Could somebody in the San Jose area post when they get an envelope? At least, that way, I can know when to be anxious.

Looking at the map on the USPS website that shows delivery times for Priority Mail, it seems most areas outside LA will hear Monday.

I also live in the San Jose area and haven’t received anything. If it’s fedexed, then monday seems to be the day. Do they also fedex the rejections?

Son received acceptance this morning via USPS priority mail. So Cal.

Judging from the report of bigwords, it seems they are not FedEx’ed, but sent by the Post Office. Probably Priority mail.

In the picture, there are some fedex envelopes. They are probably only for out-of-state/international students, since there really is no point in fedexing an envelope for in-state.

accepted in SoCal! USPS Priority Mail

Hey guys I have some questions. I am an international student and I wonder if they included my phone number in the FedEx package… In our country the delivery is basically based on phone numbers (They call you first before the delivery). Also, will I receive a package no matter what decision I get (rejection or acceptance), or only I get admitted?

FedEx puts your phone number on the outside of the package.

sater, in my experience, Fedex people will ask for clarification on any deliveries they think might be challenging. For instance, when I fedex a paper to a colleague at another school, fedex usually wants the address of the building that my colleague’s office is in, her phone #, her department phone #, her room number, etc. Their drivers want to be able to walk right upto the person and hand it to her or her secretary. They want to spend as little time running around the building as possible.

For the SoCal accepted, congratulations! We hope to see you on move-in day. Should know by monday or tuesday.

One question: did the accepted students receive their FA package at the same time?

To answer a couple queries before, as stated on their web page,
In other words, FedEx letters for acceptance only.

Do they email or anything for the rejected students?

Did anyone receive any notification from FedEx about a letter being shipped to them?

@malikh95 Did you? I did, but for one of the other colleges I applied to.

Actually, I know friends in the SoCal region who received waitlists today, so I am guessing rejection letters were also sent out.

Congratulations to the admitted students! Please post your credentials!

Have any international students received an email from FedEx?
