The day is finally coming! I think now it’s the time to start a thread to discuss our ED decisions. So, when is the decision exactly coming? I found mid Dec in Bryn Mawr website, but exact date is not fixed yet! Any information???

Please let’s share our news and decisions. Best of luck to all the applicants. I am nervous! Fingers Crossed!

Hey I applied early decision and have been looking everywhere to find out when the acceptances are sent out… in the past it has been set at Dec 15 but apparently last year there was a delay. I found that out in past BM threads on this website.
I got a little letter from BM in the mail today and I was so scared it was a rejection. I opened it and it turned out to just be some information about getting a job after going to a liberal arts college like BM. Did anyone else get this letter from the director of admissions?

I’m applying ED as well, and I hope it comes soon.
I was also really worried because I got an envelope from Bryn Mawr (though mine was large) and it was merely something along the lines of “apply to our school, we’re cool”
It was kinda funny because I got another envelope from my instate public university, which I already applied to as well, and it said similar things…

What about any changes on the virtual Bryn Mawr? In past threads it was unknown whether everyone got a link that says ‘view financial aid’ or not. Does anyone not have this link on their account?

@Pika929
I did not get any email like that, but Fin aid office had emailed me yesterday as they were reviewing my financial aid documents and were confused about the amount I entered!

I am an international, asking lots of aid and really nervous!

@russgirl I emailed admissions but they said they do not have the fixed Decision date yet! Let’s hope it will be revealed soon :)

Was anyone asked to send their quarter-grades? Usually if they want your quarter-grades, they are borderline about admitting you and it can make a difference.

I don’t think I got that…
Did any of you guys get that?
Oh gawd… well my grades aren’t really bad, (they’re not amazing, but they’re not bad)
I was really hoping my scores would push me over… lol

Me too, Sadissaw! Bryn Mawr is the only school I can picture myself loving. Unfortunately, I don’t want to go out of state, say, to a school like Smith or Mt. Holyoke, because I want to stay with my boyfriend in Pennsylvania. I live about 45 minutes away from Bryn Mawr. Where is everyone from?

Nepal? It is so cool! ED is about 50% acceptance rate, I think we have a good chance! Though, my daughter need a lot of Fin Aid, it might hurt her chances.

@russgirl, I just tried the moodle log in and it worked! I hope this is a sign and I hope you guys can get the fin aid you need. @sadissaw, one of the awesome things about Bryn Mawr is the diversity and how you can meet women from all over the world!

Hi everyone! I am from Puerto Rico and I also applied ED! Haverford Colege already send their acceptance letters and I thought Bryn Mawr would do it the same day But I think tomorrow is going to be the day… So nervous!

If tomorrow is the day, it will either be a really good or really bad weekend! For the moodle, I clicked update information and all the fields I could edit except email. It wouldn’t let me enter anything for my email address, so I couldn’t save changes. Maybe it’s just my computer.
