Anyone else apply to Syracuse and wanna share stats? There are so many old threads where people shared their stats and patiently waited for their admissions decisions together. I can't seem to find a recent one, so I decided to start one! :)

I applied RD on Oct. 26th. Waiting patiently, or should I say, not so patiently!

I applied Early Decision 2 to Engineering and am still waiting to hear back. Anyone else ED2?

What are planning to study barbnbrian? And ratchg I believe I read somewhere that they just started sending out ED2 decisions on the Feb. 1

Applied to Falk. Planning to major in social work.

I applied RD on 11/20!

@ratchg You should’ve gotten an answer by now, they said they’d have all the ED2 decisions done by Feb 1. I also applied ED 2 and got accepted on January 28th. You should probably call.

RD on December 30th for poly sci
1810 sat
3.2 gpa
lot of extra curricular stuff
they said mid march for rd acceptances so I’m just waiting

Ratch, if you haven’t heard yet, email the admissions office at orange@syr.edu. I’ll bet they’re waiting for something.

Applied Regular Decision January 2! Hopefully, not too late! I applied for Newhouse for Advertising! and CAS for Psychology as a backup.

Currently a 93 GPA for senior year. (I have a 65 average in gym for senior year in the first semester because I couldn’t wake up for it crying Gym is at 7:20 AM for me. Plus it’s a thirty - forty minute travel to my school from my house)

Cumulative GPA should be around 95.

1770 SAT
29 ACT
630 Math 1 SAT II
620 Physics SAT II
480 French SAT II (I know, really bad. I took all three SAT IIs at once and French was the last one I took. Physics was the second one I took and it killed my brain.)

Over 1000+ hours of community service
- Church Kitchen (started sophomore year and continuing every Sunday)
- Not-for-profit organization benefiting people that have disabilities (Started late in my junior year, but still ongoing)
- Guatemala Mission with my church for one week in June

I took AP Calculus AB and got a 4, AP US History and got a 3, and passed College French in my junior year top of my class (I was the only junior in the senior class) Took all Honors classes Freshman to Junior year. I’ve been to three high schools so far, so it’s been pretty tough for me. When I transferred to my third school for my senior year, all the AP Classes were full. Transfer students were admitted a week before school started, so we didn’t get priority for classes.

Good luck to you guys who are waiting patiently (and anxiously for me!) for acceptance mails next month!

Wow guys! March 15 is sloooowly creeping up!!! Only 3 more weeks :-SS

I didn’t realize that I applied regular decision and not ED2. So…I am still waiting. School of Engineering. Fingers crossed!

@sparks42 Why March 15? Is that for a specific School or is that the week that all RD come out?

March 15 is when they’re supposed to start sending out RD! @Kayla911rae

@sparks42 just wondering, how did you find this out?

Well actually that’s what I had read somewhere earlier… but I just saw another RD thread for Cuse and there are people on it that have already gotten acceptance. So if I’m assuming right, then they’ve already started the waves of notices. @Kayla911rae

@sparks42 that is great! I am so glad that they are comming out. What thread did you see it from?

Have you all heard yet? My S is still waiting. I thought they said they were sending out decisions mid March. He has not heard a thing…

@SoccerMom21 someone said that they talked to their admissions counselor (regional counselor at SU) and the first wave of decisions will be released tomorrow afternoon!

I got my acceptance letter (well email) today!! :)
