OMG, @AvonHSDad, that was funny:))
I have my first born leaving port in August to the NE:( After being accepted to so many great schools, he narrowed down to 3. Penn, Columbia and Yale! Can’t wait for his decisions as he’s visiting them…he’s going out of state:((

Updated the google doc: S was denied at USC (their loss), and has happily placed a deposit at Univ. of Denver, where he received a lovely aid package. The whole family is very happy and relieved, and S is dusting off his skis (not much use for them these past 6 years in Hawaii!) (figuratively, of course - no way he can use the same ones he used at 12, when we left “the Great White North”) and looking forward to the seasons, the city life, and just moving on!

Accepted: UNH (IS - and parent tuition break), UConn (no aid), UDelaware (some grant/merit aid), SUNY Binghamton (good grant/merit aid, given CoA), George Washington U (merit aid, but not enough to be affordable).
Waitlisted: Lehigh, Northeastern.
Denied: UNC

Decision still up in the air, though he is leaning Del. Will update GD when decision is made.

Son decided on Fordham today. Was accepted to Arizona, ASU, Champlain, Drexel, University of Miami, New College, Northeastern, Portland State, University of Portland, USC. All with merit. I’m glad he has made a decision.
