Class of 2018 (yikes!) - Sharing,Venting, Etc

Thank you again everyone for your prayers and thoughts!!!
My son came home from the hospital last night…He is much better, no fever thank goodness! Since the hospital room had internet access, I kept on top of everything-and ready to gear up for UCF next Saturday, and then Chicago.

D left for FSU audition earlier this afternoon with a very good friend and her Mom from our area. I am sure she will be just fine without me. The only thing I am worried about is that she stay healthy. I keep texting her and reminding her to wash her hands…what a pain in keister Mom I am LOL.

Wonderful news, frazzled! I’m glad he’s home! And your daughter will be fine (as long as she washes her hands)!! LOL!

Great news frazzled!! BAL to D!!

Venting- felt adrift when I couldn’t log onto cc this morning! Here at Unifieds. Not finding much walk-in action. Son’s first audition this afternoon. I’m going to Macy’s to burn off some energy…

So happy to hear your good news frazzled! Best wishes to your son for continued recovery and to your daughter for successful auditions!

I am here at FSU with my S and Frazzled’s D. She is adorable and doing great! Not sure about the hand washing. The dance audition is done and they are waiting for their song/monologue time slots. They got to leave and have lunch! Very organized here.

I’m able to log in through my laptop now but it’s still telling me it is busy on the mobile. I agree entertainersmom that would be frustrating to be at Unifieds and not be able to get on CC!

I didn’t even know there was a phone app

Everything’s better at the Herald Square Macy’s, entertainersmom!!!

HAAAAA@ redscorpian on the handwashing! Isn’t she super adorable, though! :)

I returned from Macy’s a new woman. Son also appreciated my absence!

Heading to Macy’s to decompress from today’s auditions. Ah, retail therapy-the best!

And I do NOT like the changes to CC!!! Old dog, new tricks. No, not happy!

Now I’m jealous of the Macy’s shoppers! How I miss NYC!

I am so glad you caught up with her redscorpion6. I didn’t hear anything from her until she left campus (about an hour ago). She said things went “ok”. I shall figure that one out when she is home in a few hours.

Totes adorbs GSOMT!! I got hugs so did S.

Frazzled- So glad to hear that your son is back home. My heart sank when I read your post the other day.

Wife and D were also at FSU today. D said that everyone was very nice and she felt good about her audition. She was done with everything by 1:00 so they decided to hop in the car and follow the coast to Panama City Beach. Life is good!

On the vent side of things - WHY did they have to mess with CC? I’m and old dog and adapting to tech change does not come easy. If I’m lucky I’ll be able to figure it out before D picks a school…

Chicago Unifieds next weekend, where I’ll get to hang out with D for a couple of days. I’m looking forward to it!

Here’s to “old dogs” cheeseheadmike…I am one too! I am glad they enjoyed the trip to the beach. Hope to meet you in Chicago!

If you have 6 minutes to spare and want a laugh watch Tom Hanks on Jimmy Fallon

Thanks Bisouu! I need some comic relief. We are at LaGuardia, plane delayed, and we won’t land at home until near Midnight. Unifieds were interesting. Second day was more fun. I’ll write more when I’m reunited with my lap top.

Venting. S got his no letter today from Shenandoah. So hard to look at a sad face. We could use a yes in our mailbox. Ugh. This will have a happy ending right?
