Anyone know why I am still waiting to hear? Out of state (Missouri), 3.7 GP,A 29 ACT. College of Liberal Arts. Applied August 18

Congratulations to all accepted!

Did the school send you an e-mail to let you know you had been accepted or is checking Application Tracker the way to find out?

@MomTwoGirls,

Accetpance status will be updated in Application Tracker and School will send a regular mail to your home in a couple of weeks. We did not receive any email notification.

@AoPSFan1,

Thank you so much for answering!

@boltx013 looks like a fake - google “fake facebook class groups”

GPA(UW): 4.0/4.0
SAT:N/A
ACT: 31
School: College of Liberal Arts, honors
Attending: Yes

I am pretty surprised that I was admitted into honors, I definitely don’t hold a candle to some of the other stats on here!

I applied like september 29. it was first app. and ya im out of state, california.

GPA: 3.69
SAT: didn’t take
ACT: 27
School: College of Liberal Arts
Attending? : YESSSSSS :D

I just got the confirmation that my application was complete by priority deadline so I assume I won’t be getting a notification about a rejection or admission until February.

How long did it take most of your trackers to change from we received everything to we are considering to an actual decision?

What do you think my chances for Computer Engineering are:
GPA: (UW) 3.4ish-school doesn’t really do it so I figured it out on my own and went with a lower number. (W) 3.86 (5APs presenior year, 4 more senior year, the rest of my core classes all honors- besides precalc w/ trig)
SAT: 710R 700W 730M
Out of State

@flyerslv7 - I applied on November 27th, and got confirmation of Application completion on December 11th. My tracker got upgraded to “we are very carefully considering” today. I’m OOS as well. I should note that I used the Golden Gopher App - I’m sure that speeds things up, since there is no essay involved.

Got my acceptance a few days ago! I didn’t think that I’d hear back so quickly, but it was definitely a nice surprise :)

GPA: Around a 3.75 UW. My school doesn’t really do them.
SAT: 2040
School:College of Liberal Arts. I plan on majoring in Nursing.
Attending?: I’m not sure. I really, really liked it when I visited. There’s definitely a chance, but I received an awesome scholarship from another school and am also waiting to hear back from a few schools that are at the top of my list.

Well that was quick. Like I said on the 23 I had just gotten my ‘we got everything on time’ message. That stayed the same the next day and then I didn’t bother checking after the 25 with it being Christmas I doubted it would have changed to the ‘carefully considering’ message. However, today on a whim I checked and it says I have been accepted and should receive a mailed letter soon.
@OACLJV- I also used the Golden Gopher App- so yeah, it speeds things up.

I got my reply today as well. That’s impressive that you went from “materials received” to “accepted” in a matter of 5 days!

GPA: Around 3.89 UW
SAT: 2280
ACT: None
Attending?: Honestly, I only applied to Minnesota on a whim because I got a letter in the mail saying that they would waive my application fee. Unless I get a large scholarship, accepted to Honors, and rejected from the in-state schools that I applied to, I’ll probably not be attending. However, this is my first acceptance so it does feel really good to know that I have one college that I’m “in” at.

Edit: I got accepted to the College of Liberal Arts. I’m regretting not applying to the College of Biological Sciences now…

ACCEPTED- IN STATE

GPA: 3.705 unweighted
SAT: didn’t take
ACT: 29 but 30 with superscore
School: Carlson School of Management
Attending? : I’m not sure yet! I haven’t heard back about scholarships yet but I applied here as a safety school. Still waiting to hear back from UMich, USC, Lehigh, and Boulder

GPA: 4.16
SAT: Not submitted
ACT: 34
School: CSE + Honors
Attending: Seriously considering it

Got my Honors letter today! I was kind of surprised because I got accepted way back in October and the Gold National Scholarship mid November, so I assumed that I wasn’t accepted to the Honors program.
33 ACT, 2240 SAT, 4.0 GPA
Out of state, College of Biological Sciences

OOS

GPA:3.95 UW
SAT:2120
ACT:32
School: CSE + Honors
Attending? : I didn’t plan on it originally, but I’m seriously starting to consider it after seeing my scholarship offer. It’s actually one of my cheapest options now

Did both the scholarship and honors info come via mail, and how long did it take? I got my acceptance about a week ago, but I haven’t gotten any mail yet - not even my initial acceptance letter.

It took me a couple of weeks after my tracker updated to get my acceptance letter in the mail. Even though I applied sometime in October, I didn’t get my online acceptance to honors until recently (I just found out about it yesterday).

All my scholarship info came in the mail, but I didn’t get everything at once. The Gold National and Bentson Family scholarships came first. The Gold Scholar and study abroad scholarships came about a month later.

Thanks for the info! Interestingly enough, I received my acceptance packet in the mail today and then later saw that I had been accepted to the Honors program (on the app tracker page). Still waiting on the scholarship info, but I’m happy to have something now!

This will probably be all of the college news that I get for a few months until Regular Decision results start coming out…
