I think you can talk to ncsu and see why you got deferred

@Saraluck123 would it look disrespectful to NCSU if I called them tomm to ask why I was deferred? i don’t want to be that annoying applicant. However, I am really worried…

I do not think so, I think you can talk to them.

Yes, those are stretch schools with SAT 75 percentiles (25% of students score higher than these scores) of 1400 at Tulane, 1480 at Case W and 1500 at Georgetown.

I am a bit surprised at in state 3.6/29 super-score deferral. I would contact them and ask about the process, potential reasons for deferral. NC State latest stats show a 1310 2 part SAT 75%ile.

Sorry to hear that. Remember deferral is not rejection. You might want to consider your back up options though. Options are key.

Also, I am a father but more importantly an employer/hiring manager. Requesting feedback is never disrespectful - repeat phone calls maybe but 1-2 to clarify is not an issue in my mind. Apathy is worse than being bold. I think a respectful but inquiring call is fine. Another option is to email your local admissions recruiter person. I have emailed back and forth with one from Auburn and found them very helpful in guiding me towards what my options are for my son.
