I applied for CAS

My portal hasn’t changed. As much as I am trying to stay optimistic, I must also be realistic. Congrats to all of you who possibly could have been accepted. I am extremely bummed… I suppose now I can just hope for a deferral… In the end, everything will be as it should. Again, congrats to those of you accepted, and chin up to those of us deferred/rejected. We’re all going to go to some really kick a$$ schools! <3

@matusa96 @anniemalfarm I was just checking if the portal change was for CSOM applicants only… I guess not… (and btw I didn’t get the portal change )

For those of you who have gotten the email, would you mind posting your stats? Just curious as to how I stack up

@DcMoon34 did u also get the portal change?

@mikeyzhit nope… My brother goes there now. Have better stats than when he got in, but obviously the college process is holistic.

@DcMoon34 thats right. BC was a bit of a reach because my SAT was only a 2040, so I shouldn’t be too surprised, but I was (like we all are) hoping for a bit of luck. And best case, we get deferred, then accepted regular decision. Also, what are your stats?

@mikeyzhit Was applying to CSOM (where my brother goes) and have a 2200 and a 4.35 weighted GPA, kinda bummed, not gonna lie

@DcMoon34 oh wow! You have some pretty impressive numbers, so I’m a little surprised you didn’t get in… do you think there is any chance we can still be accepted? (As if the portal change means nothing)

Anyone from Florida get the change?

@mikeyzhit Lol thanks, I mean obviously I’m hoping that the portal just didn’t update for us, but right now, I’m leaning towards deferral or rejection. Who knows until we get the official letters, though. Good luck man!

@DcMoon34 yeah thanks! You too! What are your other top choices?

Chances of the portal not updating for everyone?

got the portal change in Texas.

@mikeyzhit I got deferred from Michigan last week (like half the country did lol) and I got into Villanova but I’d really like to get into Michigan and NYU, what about you?

@Mfrias from what I understand, the portal only changed for the people that have been accepted, but I’m not sure about rejections of deferrals.
