Class of 2019, premed and CGS

Hi! I applied to BU intending that I would either be CAS or Sargent and do premed. However, just a few days ago I got accepted into CGS. At first, I thought it wasn’t a big deal by looking at the website and the professional pathway. However, after looking at many articles and discussions, I’m very weary of attending CGS if I’m doing premed. My other choice would be Saint Louis University, which offered me some financial aid. Please comment below if it is worth it to attend BU - CGS while doing premed without any financial aid. I feel that there is obviously a clear answer but I just can’t let BU go please comment any advice or tips! Thanks

Our son was accepted to the CGS program also, his intended major is business. I would suggest (as we are) to attend the accepted students day to learn more about CGS. It appears its a program that has been around for awhile and they obviously have success with it, or they would not do it. As far as financial aid that is something you need to decide yourself based upon your finances. BU is one of the most expensive schools, so that needs to be taken into consideration. We plan to attend the open house and hear it through before making any decisions. He is also attending two other open houses (Bentley & Fordham) to hopefully help him decide. Best of luck to you and I’m sure whatever you decide you will be successful!
