Has anyone heard back
Not yet. I recall an earlier post in this forum where an individual got off the waitlist on the morning of May 9th.
I got an email asking for any updates yesterday. Anybody else get one?

@asiansinspace Cool. The email they sent said that they will be accepting people this week. So I’m assuming tomorrow.
will they send out notifications too those not accepted off the waitlist

Anybody heard anything? Any rejections?
Seeing how very few people get admitted off Hopkins’ waitlist each year I think it’s pretty much over 
I got a call on monday at like 3 from a hopkins admissions rep saying that hopkins was gonna be evaluating the waitlist this week. She asked if i wanted to stay on the waitlist and to send any updates i had. So i sent an email. It was pretty good but I wouldnt say it was like incredibly convincing- all i said was that i really liked hopkins physics, that i had done well in a debate tournament, and i mentioned science olympiad and some fundraising i had done this year. Then today I received an email saying that my admissions status had updated and i got in. I’ve heard that they usually have a specific demographics or groups they take off the waitlist to fill the gaps in the class so if anyone is interested I am a physics major from a public school in md. My D was accepted yesterday as well.
Congratulations to those accepted!! Does… does that mean it’s over for the rest of us? It’s been a really long journey. Every journey has an end. 
No, it doesn’t mean it’s over. Colleges will keep you waiting as long as it’s convenient for them.
