I applied EA. My mailing address has changed since the time I applied and so I have not been able to find out if I was accepted. The anticipation is killing me and for some reason I cannot log onto bison web. Where did everyone initially get their student IDs in order to log on?
Hey guys! I applied EA and was accepted but my stats aren’t good enough for a scholarship ( 3.60 GPA & 24 ACT), to all the future bison out there without scholarships, how do plan on paying for howard :-/
@chelsrenee I didnt get scholarship even though I have a 26ACT and a 3.65GPA 
I dont think I will go to Howard.

I haven’t heard not one word yet.
So I called first thing this morning and they said the rest of the decisions will be emailed out today by 5pm I think that means you did not get in. I’m honestly so sad because I wanted to attend so badly and had worked so hard to get everything together to apply. Of course you want to be optimistic but let’s be realistic if they’re not mailing you out an acceptance package and you have to wait, that pretty much means the letter is to tell you nice try right? Has anyone else heard of someone getting accepted after break?
@Musiqluv if letters are mailed today than a email should follow as well check around 5pm. I really wanted to get accepted but idk now. Still have a little hope
@mylife2live yes, it has my wrong act I took two 1 25 and another 26 and the 26 isnt listed. I called admissions today and she said it would be update soon and I would be reconsidered for scholarship. I am keeping hope alive.
@mickeyhabibi I applied to Howard too! but regular decision. Unlike other schools I applied to, I received a confirmation email. Should i call them? I just want to ensure that they received my application. Sources have told me that administration is nerve racking. Urghhh
Hey, to all who are applying or haven’t heard back: don’t be discouraged!! keep the faith and I think if you applied early and did not get in you can appeal or something. Exhaust all your options and try for as many outside scholarships as possible. If you really want to attend HU, do what you have to do to get there. My prayers are with all of my future bison!!!

Hello all! My name is Gavin and I’m a Junior Legal Communications major at Howard from SoCal. It’s so awesome to see such active prospective bison! For those of you who have not received scholarships yet, just wait! Howard is notoriously slow with notifying people. Call the financial aid office until you get an answer and make it an EMERGENCY that they give you your package. Lesson #1 of Howard: persistence is key!
